In 2007, I rehabilitated Quinta da Pedra Escrita, a property that has been in the family for more than eight generations. The legacy of the farm, its altitude, the very sandy, poor and arid granite soils, were decisive in my dream of reviving here the concept of Douro white wines for ageing, as in times past.
