18 months in French oak barrels, 2/3 new, 1/3 in their second use. / Blend of a selection of small batches of Touriga Nacional grapes from vineyards by the Douro River, and native Douro grape varieties from old vines in high-altitude vineyards, such as Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Francisca and others. / Schist soils in the Upper Douro.

WINEMAKER NOTES
Complex, highly concentrated aroma, including blackberry, hints of liquorice, spices, violets, bergamot and rock rose, balanced with very elegant notes of French oak. Long and full, the fruit is evident in the finish. Very ripe, smooth and firm tannins, fresh and extremely elegant, promising excellent ageing in the bottle.
Enjoy with meat and game dishes, cured cheeses or simply with a cigar.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Very elegant and refined, a modern style that fully preserves the soul of the Douro’s native grape varieties.
Aroma that harmoniously blends the great concentration of Douro reds in all their complexity. Berries, hints of rock rose, spices, exuberant violets and extremely fresh notes of basil and bergamot. The long maturation in barrels
produced a wine with great aromatic elegance, where the scents of the Douro
are not masked by excessive notes of oak. Very smooth and ripe tannins, fresh
and aromatic, very elegant, with an unusual long finish.

Fantastic with Iberian smoked ham, roasts, game, smoked meats and other
typically Mediterranean and intense dark meat dishes. Excellent with cured goat cheeses.

9 months in French oak barrels, fermented and aged with fine lees stirred batonnage / Grapes from old vines in field blended vineyards, of native varieties, such as: Códega do Larinho, Rabigato, Viosinho, Verdelho, Malvasia Fina,... / Schist soils in the Upper Douro at an average altitude of 500 metres above the sea level.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES
Very complex aroma, a mineral character balanced with discreet hints of tropical and citrus fruits and orange peel. Perfectly balanced, evoking toasty notes of French oak, giving it great aromatic complexity. Long on the palate, with volume, full body and a very fresh final acidity.

A perfect wine to enjoy with food, try it with baked fish, soft goat cheeses, white meat and cod dishes.

 WINEMAKER’S NOTES
Very complex, intense aroma with the Touriga Franca conveying wild berries and rock rose. Spices and red fruit from the Tinta Roriz and very fresh and elegant floral notes of violet from the Touriga Nacional. 12 months ageing in American and French barrels give the wine the mature touches of a great Douro wine with a modern and international profile. Sweet and full on the palate, with very soft, polished tannins and a long, warm finish.

Serve with game, cod and Mediterranean cuisine.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Complex aroma with a mineral character balanced with tropical and citrus fruits, white wild flowers, as well as discreet and evocative toasty hints of oak. Full and creamy on the palate, with body, freshness and a very long finish.

Perfect with baked fish, soft cheeses, spicy and aromatic dishes such as shrimp curry.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES
Aromas of red berries and spices reveal gentle maceration in order to preserve the typical notes of these grape varieties and make the wine ready for consumption after bottling. Typical aromas of Douro grape varieties. Sweet hints of rock rose, flowers, blackberries and spices add to the aromatic complexity. Very smooth on the palate with balanced acidity and fine tannins.

 Serve on its own or pairing with traditional, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Intense aroma of red fruits, cherries and raspberries well balanced with fresh floral notes very typical from the Touriga Nacional grapes, like basil and violets.

TASTING NOTES
Dominant notes of very fresh olives. Fine and elegant almond flavour very characteristic of olive oils from the Douro and Trás-os-Montes province, with vibrant touches of sundried tomato. Fresh and racy on the palate with a very discreet spiciness that asserts the excellence of this olive oil.

NOTAS DE PROVA
Muito fino de aromas, de carácter mineral em equilíbrio com notas discretas de fruta confitada e pão torrado.
Bolha delicada e persistente, com boa mousse na boca e acidez natural muito viva, dando uma sensação crocante ao conjunto.
Aperitivo por excelência. Pela sua acidez e frescura, também pode ser uma combinação curiosa com pratos fortes, como peixes gordos e carnes.
